DALA JOURNEY
DaLa in ancient Sanskrit means leaf. As a child of Mother Nature, the leaf is a symbol of the eternal cycle of life and man's quest for vitality. A leaf is a source of nutrition, provides shelter and has extraordinary nurturing qualities.
CONCEPT
DaLa Spa has been designed as an opulent wellness facility where personal indulgence takes on a whole new meaning.
A choice of 7 treatment rooms is available, each one named after an exotic flower and taking on a different interior theme, colour and ambience. By setting a mood through the use of lighting and essential oils, DaLa Spa prepares clients for a personalized experience that evokes the senses.
In addition, DaLa Spa caters exclusively to the beauty and relaxation needs of couples, especially honeymooners celebrating the spirit of love as they prepare to embark on a journey through life together.
HOW TO SPA
PRE-INFORMATION
We advise you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appoinment which enables us to prepare you for your spa experience.
Arriving late will limit the time and full benefits of your treatment.
Please let us know if you are feeling unwell or have a history of high/low blood presure, allergies or poor health that requires medication.
Our spa treatment rooms cater to the needs of individuals and couples.
We will provide you with disposable underwear, slippers, towels, shower facilities and a hair dryer for your comfort and convenience. To respect your privacy, our therapist have been trained to discreetly drape a cloth over body during your treatment.
Please leave any valuable belongings in your villa. We will not accept responsibility for the loss of any valuables brought to the spa.
While it is not neccessary for you to take out contact lenses during your treatment, we advise you to bring your case and solution to the spa just in case you feel any discomfort.
NOTE FOR MEN
Men are advised not to shave for at least three hours before a facial.
NOTE FOR WOMEN
Women are required to remove all traces of make-up prior to any treatment and avoid shaving before a body exfoliation treatment. Body treatments are not appropriate for pregnant women. However, please ask our spa receptionist at advise what treatments/rituals are considered safe to experience during pregnancy.
CANCELLATION
Please notify the spa 12 hours in advance if you would like to cancel or reschedule your appoinment. A 50% cancellation fee will be levied for treatments cancelled less than 12 hours in advance. No-shows will be charged the full amount for missed services.
PAYMENT
Please pay on arrival or have your treatment charged to your room. DaLa Spa accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Amex, MasterCard and JCB. All rates are charged in US dollars and subject to 21% government and service charge. Additional gratuities are subject to your discretion.
PROHIBITED
Photography and smoking in and around the spa are strictly prohibited.
AGE LIMITATION
Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use the spa facilites. Please do not leave children unattended in the spa reception.
IN VILLA TREATMENT
Some spa treatments can be taken in the privacy of your villa. However, we recommended that you use DaLa Spa facilities to enjoy the ambience that has been created with mood enhancing lights, music and aromatherapy oils to enhance your wellness experience.
